I came across this case recently and it honestly left me thinking about the role of eyewitnesses in such tragedies. Dustin Lowery's account of what happened seems so crucial. It must be incredibly difficult to provide testimony in such a traumatic situation, especially having witnessed his friend get shot. I can’t imagine what he must be going through, knowing he was there and barely escaped himself. It makes you wonder how these experiences shape a person moving forward. I genuinely hope Lowery has a strong support system around him during this time. It’s tough to come to terms with something so violent and senseless, but perhaps his testimony might help bring some measure of justice for Brandon and his family. Thoughts are with them during this difficult time.
