I’ve been following Vernon Young’s case closely since it happened, and I'm troubled by the lack of progress in identifying a suspect. I recently read about the surveillance footage showing a person of interest near the crime scene on Rivers Avenue, but it’s been years with no further developments. It’s tough to imagine what his family, especially his mother, is going through. They deserve answers and closure, and it’s disheartening that this remains elusive.
Why isn't there more movement on examining this footage or gathering more eyewitness accounts? It feels like someone in the community must know something, even if it seems minor. Please, if anyone has any information, however small, come forward. Let’s not let this turn into another cold case. We owe it to Vernon and his family to push for answers and help bring justice to the forefront.
Does anyone have thoughts on the person of interest seen on the surveillance video near the crime scene? I can't imagine how difficult it must be for Vernon's family to know this lead is out there but still not have answers. It's understandable to feel frustrated with the lack of progress, and it seems crucial that anyone who might know something about this person steps up. Every little detail could be a piece of the puzzle. Please, if you were around Rivers Avenue and Verde Avenue that night, reach out to the police. Vernon's loved ones deserve answers and closure.
