Has anyone looked into the potential witnesses from that night? I heard the area where Maurice Smith was killed, near 1430 South Sixth Street, is usually quite busy, even late at night. Someone must have seen something! It’s so upsetting that his family has to keep reliving this nightmare, not knowing who did this or why. I really hope someone who knows something finds the courage to come forward. The pain of losing a loved one in such a senseless way must be unimaginable, and it’s hard to understand why, after all this time, there hasn’t been a breakthrough. Maybe if we can keep this case in the public eye, it might lead to some new information. If you're in the area or know folks who were around back then, please help spread the word. Maurice and his family deserve answers.

Has anyone delved into the security camera situation in Old Louisville around the time of Maurice Smith's murder? I've been thinking about how crucial video footage can be in cases like this. Considering the location at 1430 South Sixth Street, which is a fairly busy area, there must have been some cameras around—could be residential, business, or even city-operated. It seems like a long shot after all this time, but maybe someone had footage that just hasn’t been thoroughly checked or maybe could be re-examined with newer technology? My heart goes out to Maurice's family and friends. They deserve to have some peace, and if a piece of overlooked evidence is out there, maybe it’s time for another look. Any thoughts on how we can push this angle with the Louisville Metro Police?

Does anyone here have any insights into the case of Maurice Smith? I recently came across the vigil his family held a year after his untimely passing, and it really struck a chord with me. I can't imagine the pain his loved ones must be going through without any answers or justice. It's so important for the community to rally together and support these families in their search for closure. If anyone has any information, however small it might seem, please consider reaching out to the Louisville Metro Police Department. Every little bit could help push this case forward. Keeping Maurice's family in my thoughts as they continue their fight for justice.
