I can't stop thinking about the role Yolanda Hall and her daughter played in trying to help John Hubbard after he was shot. It must have been incredibly traumatic for them to witness such a violent event right on their doorstep. From what I’ve read, it seems like they did everything they could to save him, and I can’t imagine how difficult it must have been to maintain composure in such a terrifying situation. It's stories like these that remind us how critical it is to have a strong community support network. Hall and her daughter's quick response was commendable, and I hope they're finding support themselves to cope with the aftermath of this tragedy. I can't help but think about how such acts of violence affect everyone involved, not just the immediate victims.Orangeburg seems like a close-knit community, and tragedies like this can definitely send ripples through everyone who lives there. Let's hope this case brings more awareness to domestic issues and the vital importance of stop-gap measures to prevent such heartbreak in the future.
