I've been following this case closely and can't stop thinking about the brave actions of Orangeburg law enforcement and the US Marshals in tracking down the suspects. It's clear how much Karl Myron Williams meant to the community, and it's a relief to see such diligence from the authorities. I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for Williams' family and friends, but knowing that the investigation is bringing some progress must offer a tiny bit of solace. Williams' legacy as an educator and a sports enthusiast is evident in the love and respect being shown by those who knew him. Keeping the community in my thoughts as they continue to seek justice and healing.
