I’ve been following the investigation into the tragic deaths of Kiashia Green and Ben Franklin Jr., and I can’t stop thinking about the community aspect of this case. In small towns like Georgetown, the sense of community is often strong, and this makes such losses hit even harder. It's really frustrating that despite the best efforts by the sheriff’s office, we still don't have more concrete information on suspects or the motive behind this terrible act.
I’ve read that the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is urging locals to come forward with any information, no matter how small. I really hope that if someone knows something, they find the courage to contact the authorities. Kiashia and Ben deserve justice, and so do their families and friends who are left trying to make sense of this senseless violence. It's heartening to know that they’ve had the support of the community at the funeral, but I imagine that what they really need is closure.
If anyone sees this and knows anything, let's do what we can to help the sheriff's office. Even spreading the word among wider networks might lead to that one crucial piece of information. It's a tough time for everyone involved, and they deserve our support.
Does anyone know if there have been any updates about security footage from businesses around Sutton Road on the night Kiashia and Ben were shot? I keep thinking about the potential for cameras to have captured something helpful. Even if the nearby places didn’t see exactly what happened, maybe they caught vehicles or people passing by that could provide some leads. It’s so important for law enforcement to get as much information as possible to piece together that night. My heart really goes out to Kiashia’s family—they deserve answers and justice for such a terrible loss. If you have any info about what footage might be out there or what LE has been able to collect, please share!
