Has anyone else been following the Lequandra Royal case closely? One aspect that really gets to me is the bond system in South Carolina. I can't fathom how someone charged with such a serious crime can be released on bond like that. It feels like a slap in the face to Lequandra’s family and everyone who knew and loved her. I completely understand their worries about safety and the frustration with the system. It's just beyond comprehension sometimes how the justice system works. I truly hope this case leads to some real changes in how these situations are handled. It's crucial that victims' families aren't left feeling even more vulnerable. Has anyone else seen similar bond outcomes in other cases? Would love to hear thoughts on how this impacts community trust in the justice system.
