Has anyone else noticed how the role of social media in this case hasn't been discussed enough? It's really devastating to think about how platforms we use every day can become stages for these dangerous interactions. Deshawn’s story is sadly becoming more common, where something as simple as a social media connection can lead to real-world tragedy. It's frightening to think that something like this could happen to anyone at any time. While Deshawn's family is undoubtedly going through unimaginable pain, it's important for the rest of us to take a hard look at our Internet habits. It’s easy to overlook the risks when interacting online, especially for younger folks. Maybe if there was more awareness around these dangers, tragedies like this could be prevented in the future.
