Hey everyone,
I've been diving into the details surrounding Sherry Baker's case from 1974, and something really stood out to me—did anyone else notice how the crime scene was described? It seems like there was such an excessive amount of violence involved, especially with her hands being tied behind her back using a telephone cord. This indicates a level of premeditation and control that might point to a personal vendetta or someone familiar with her habits. It's terrifying to think someone might have been targeting her specifically.
I can’t even begin to imagine what her loved ones have gone through all these years without answers. I wonder if anyone in the area at the time noticed anything unusual or perhaps knew of someone who matched this MO but was never publicly revealed. Given the speculation about links to other cases like those of BTK, it’s crucial for people to remember even the tiniest details from that era could be the missing piece.
If anyone knows of similar cases or suspects with a similar pattern, or even has memories from the time that seem insignificant, it might be worth mentioning to the authorities. Sherry deserves justice, and whatever piece of information helps bring it about, no matter how small, should be shared.
Keeping her in my thoughts.
It's so incredibly sad to read about Sherry Baker's case. I was looking into it, and I noticed something that made me wonder. Sherry's murder took place in 1974, the same year BTK began his horrific activities in Wichita. I've seen other people mentioning a possible connection, but has there ever been a thorough investigation into that angle?
From what I understand, BTK's known pattern was to communicate with authorities, yet there’s no record of such interaction in Sherry’s case. Could the absence of BTK’s trademark communication mean this was the work of a different person entirely? Or could it suggest that perhaps her murder was one of his very early attempts, where he hadn't yet fully developed his 'style'?
It's haunting to think how many families are still waiting for answers after all these years. If anyone has more info on the investigation's findings or if they've read anything about this possible link, I’d be really interested to hear.
