Did anyone else attend the vigil for Jhisere and the other victims last week? It was incredibly moving to see the whole community come together to honor their memories and support their families. There was such a powerful sense of unity, which is so needed right now. I saw some of the teachers from Newberry High discussing ways to support students through this tragic time. It's clear how loved Jhisere and the others were, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. Events like these remind us of how important it is to stand together and fight against the growing problem of gun violence in our communities. If anyone has any ideas on community projects or resources to help prevent future tragedies, I'd love to hear them. We need to keep the conversation going and work towards change.
