Has anyone else noticed how often missing persons cases involving individuals who choose a transient lifestyle seem to fall by the wayside? It’s worrying how little attention David Humpal-Lamagna’s case has received. I understand he expressed a desire to live a transient life and be left alone, but it’s been six years since he vanished without a trace from Palmdale. Surely, someone might have seen or heard something since then. It feels like cases like this need more public attention. Even if he wanted to be alone, that doesn’t mean we stop looking for him, right? Has anyone seen any updates or discussions about him elsewhere? Could local organizations do more outreach for this and similar cases? Would love to hear your thoughts.
Does anyone else find it puzzling that David Humpal-Lamagna expressed such a definitive intent to live a transient lifestyle, yet there's been absolute radio silence since? I mean, it's been so many years now, and while I understand the classification of his case as voluntary, something just feels off, especially when someone completely vanishes without a trace. It's like he just disappeared entirely from society. Could it be possible that he chose to disconnect from everyone as part of his lifestyle, or is there more going on here that hasn't come to light? I hope anyone with any bit of info decides to share it with the authorities. Feel like these cases should be getting more media attention too. Thoughts?
