Anyone else curious about the Yates Creek boat ramp? It just seems like such a strange spot for Patsy to be heading on foot, especially barefoot. I mean, obviously, hindsight is 20/20, but why was she going there? Did she have a special connection to the place, or was it just a random endpoint? Some locals mentioned in another thread that the area around Dead Man's Curve is a bit isolated. If any locals are on here, could you shed some light on whether this spot means anything to the community or if it’s just known for being dangerous? Wondering if maybe checking the surroundings more thoroughly could turn up something. It's one of those details that keeps nagging at me.
Hey everyone, I've been following the Patsy Ann Butler case out of Perry, Florida and am really puzzled by something. Has anyone else noticed how odd it is that Patsy was walking barefoot? I mean, the terrain near Dead Man's Curve and the Yates Creek boat ramp is not exactly forgiving for someone without shoes, especially for a 70-year-old. It just seems so unusual. Could she have lost her shoes along the way, or could there be another reason behind it? It makes me wonder if she was in some kind of distress or maybe disoriented. I keep thinking there might be a clue in this detail that we're just not seeing. What do you all think?
