I came across Jason's case, and it's been weighing heavily on my mind. I can't even begin to imagine what his children must be going through right now. Losing a parent in such a violent and unexpected way is something no child should have to face. My thoughts are really with Lana, Madison, and Jason Ray. I hope they have lots of love and support around them during this unbearably difficult time. It's painfully unfair for kids to be swept up in adult issues with such devastating consequences. I'm also hoping that once this legal ordeal is over, they can find some semblance of peace and healing. If anyone around here knows of any community support efforts for them, please share. It’d be great to know how to help.

I've been following the tragic Simmons case and feel for everyone involved. One thing I wonder about is the impact on Jason's children, especially Lana, Madison Lashay Sue, and little Jason Ray. Losing a father is incredibly difficult, and under such traumatic circumstances, I can't imagine how they are coping. It's likely to be an emotional rollercoaster for them, trying to process the event while facing the reality of their loss. I hope they have a strong support system in place to help them navigate this unimaginable situation. Does anyone know if there are community resources available in Greer for families going through such tragedies?
