I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragic loss of Kiarstaine Lamont Fields. It's so hard to believe that an 18-year-old with his whole life ahead of him is gone. My thoughts are with his family and friends as they navigate this awful time. I'm curious if anyone has more information about the connection between Kiarstaine and the young girl who was arrested. It's puzzling that a 16-year-old is involved in such a horrific crime, and I wonder if this was a premeditated act or something that spiraled out of control. It's unsettling to think about what led to that moment on Arbutus Avenue. I hope that as the investigation continues, more details will come to light, giving everyone affected some semblance of understanding and peace.
