Just stumbled upon this case, and my heart goes out to Bethany's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. One detail that stuck out to me was the location of the incident at the Siesta Motel. I've been through Ridgeland a few times, and I always got the impression it was a quiet place. It's really unsettling to think something so tragic could occur in such a seemingly low-key setting.
Does anyone know if the Siesta Motel had any history of issues before this incident, like prior assaults or disturbances? It just makes me wonder about the context of their interaction there. Hoping the investigators can uncover more about what led to this encounter. Sending strength to those who knew and loved Bethany.
