I've been doing some reading on the ABB power plant tragedy, and I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of sorrow for Cory Wilson’s family, friends, and co-workers. One detail that I keep thinking about is Cory's passion for football. It seems like he left quite a legacy in his community and at his schools. I saw mention of his contributions to Collinsville High School's team and later at McKendree College. It's clear that he was more than just a talented player; he was a team leader and a positive influence on those around him. It's truly sad to see a bright future snuffed out so senselessly. I hope his family finds some comfort in knowing how deeply he was admired and remembered by his peers. If anyone knows if there have been any memorials or scholarships set up in his honor, I'd love to learn more about them. It would be heartening to see his love for the game continue to inspire others. My thoughts are with everyone touched by this tragedy.
