Has anyone looked into why Tyreek's car was found on Cainhoy Road? It's about a half-hour drive from where he was last spotted. I wonder if something specific drew him or the person responsible for his disappearance there. I remember reading somewhere that Cainhoy is a bit secluded, which could be why the car was set on fire there, but I can't help but think there's another reason. If anyone has local knowledge about that area or even recent activity around February 2018, it could add some important context to this mystery. Also, does anyone know if the investigators found any traces or evidence on the route the car traveled before being burned? Even minor details might be crucial!
I've been following Tyreek's case closely, and something that's been gnawing at me is the timeline between when he was last seen and when his car was found. The footage at 3 p.m. shows him at the Fuel Express, but then the car shows up burning in the early hours the next morning on Cainhoy Road. There's almost a 12-hour window there. It's terrifying to think about what could have happened in that time and where he might have gone or been taken. Also, Cainhoy Road isn't super close to where he was last seen. Did anyone ever establish why his car was found so far away, and in that condition? It feels like a deliberate move to cover tracks, especially considering the vehicle was set on fire. Still baffled that in all these years, his remains haven't been found. Thoughts?
Has anyone else been following the Tyreek Jawaun Pettigrew case from Moncks Corner? While catching up on some news, I came across new details about the guy who was arrested. Brandon Romaine Smith was apparently seen with Tyreek shortly before things went down. What's curious to me is that they haven't found Tyreek's remains yet. How common is it for there to be a murder charge without that crucial piece of evidence? It seems like such a huge part of bringing closure to Tyreek's family. I'm also wondering if anyone here thinks that there's more to the story with that witness who stepped forward years later. Why now? Could they have remembered something new, or is there more pressure in the community to resolve the case?
