I've been following Roy Valdez's case, and what really gets to me is how little coverage it seems to have gotten. It's almost as if his story got lost among all the chaos that goes on in a city. The fact that Roy was experiencing homelessness shouldn't mean his life is worth any less or that his death shouldn't matter as much. This man had a life, and from what I've read, he was distanced from his family. It's sad to think about someone possibly facing such hard times alone. I hope investigators are able to uncover more information, maybe find some witnesses or tips to bring some justice for Roy. It's a reminder of how society often overlooks the most vulnerable among us. My heart goes out to his family and anyone who cared about him. They deserve answers and some semblance of closure.
