I can't stop thinking about the whole situation involving the Besaw family. It's so devastating to lose multiple loved ones like this, especially when it involves a double murder-suicide. I've been really reflecting on how important mental health support is in our communities. It's clear that Charles was struggling with something intense, and it’s heartbreaking that this is the path things took. My deepest sympathies go out to the relatives and friends of the Besaw family. I can't imagine the pain of losing a brother and a mother at once. Hopefully, some good can come out of this by raising awareness and encouraging people to reach out and get help before things reach a breaking point. If anyone else has thoughts or knows of any local initiatives that aim to address these issues, I'd love to hear more. It's so important that we all look out for each other.
I can't stop thinking about how utterly devastating it must have been for the family member who made the 911 call after discovering Harold, Fay, and Charles. It's hard to even imagine the emotional impact of walking into such a heart-wrenching scene. While the sheriff's office hasn't shared much about Charles's possible motives, it truly underscores the unpredictable nature of mental health struggles. My heart goes out to the Besaw family and everyone in Nevada, MO, who are dealing with this shock. It emphasizes how vital it is for communities to have robust mental health support. It won’t change what happened, but maybe it can prevent another family from experiencing something so tragic. Has anyone heard if there’s been any community outreach or support events planned in the area following this tragedy? Sometimes gathering together can provide some comfort.
