I’ve been thinking a lot about how this situation must have blindsided everyone in the community, especially those who knew Cletis. From what I’ve read, he seemed like such a genuinely nice guy, always lending a hand around the park and bringing a little joy to those around him. It’s so unsettling to think that a moment of what everyone thought was reconciliation could turn so tragic.
I wonder if anyone else from the community saw any signs that tensions were still brewing beneath the surface between Cletis and Todd. It seems odd, given they’d apparently been getting along better recently. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful for Cletis's family and friends not to have any clear answers or justice, even though Todd is no longer here to face consequences. My heart goes out to all those affected by this senseless act. Hopefully, as time goes on, they find some peace and healing.
