I have been digging into the Joe Clyde Daniels case, and one aspect that's been on my mind is the role of community in these investigations. It's rare to see such a large-scale search effort mobilized so quickly, with helicopters, search dogs, and countless volunteers pouring in to help. It's a reminder of how local communities can rally together in times of crisis. But it also makes me wonder: how do these efforts impact the families and area long-term, especially when the outcome remains unresolved? I can't imagine the toll it's taken on those volunteers who put their heart and soul into finding Joe Clyde, only for the search to end in such uncertainty. Has anyone come across insights on how long these emotional impacts last or how communities cope in similar cases?
