Has anyone else been following the story about Brent Richards? I’ve been keeping up with it since it happened, and I can’t help but think about how the lack of CCTV cameras in that area might have really impacted the case. For a neighborhood that's unfortunately familiar with violence, it seems like having more surveillance could potentially deter incidents or at least aid investigations like this one. It’s frustrating to see the family still waiting for answers after all this time. I hope that the push for community members to come forward with any info eventually leads to a breakthrough. If anyone knows of other cases where technology helped make a difference, please share. I think it might be helpful for those who want to advocate for changes in Brent’s community to hear about real examples.
