Has anyone else been thinking about the timeline of the 911 call and police response in the Janet Scherrer case? From what I've gathered, the authorities arrived relatively quickly after the call, but by then, it was tragically too late to save Janet. It just makes me think about how critical every second can be in situations like this and how vital it is to have efficient emergency response systems. My heart honestly goes out to her family and friends who have to live with this immense loss. It also brings up the question of what more can be done to improve the handling of domestic violence disputes to prevent these outcomes. What are everyone's thoughts on the current systems in place? Are there other measures communities can adopt to better protect those at risk?
