Does anyone else find it deeply troubling how frequently we’re seeing young lives, like Skylar Powell’s, get caught up in potentially dangerous situations? I came across this case recently and it just made me think about how precious life is and how quickly everything can change. According to reports, Skylar was waiting outside for a ride and ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time due to a drug deal gone wrong. It's so hard to fathom how quickly things can spiral out of control. I feel for Skylar’s family and friends - no parent should ever have to bury their child, especially under such tragic circumstances. It's heartwarming, though, that they've set up the Skylar Powell Memorial Fund. It’s a beautiful way to keep his spirit alive, focusing on the values and causes that mattered to him. Hopefully, through such initiatives, we can raise awareness and prevent similar tragedies in the future. Sending all the love and strength to those affected while hoping for a more just and understanding world.
