I find it so odd how Donald Westfall Jr.'s van was found without a battery. Has anyone else heard of cases where a vehicle was left with the keys inside but the car battery is missing? It just seems like such a bizarre detail. If someone was trying to make it look abandoned, wouldn't they just take the keys and leave it at that? Removing the battery feels intentional, like someone wanted to make sure it couldn't be moved easily. I'm curious if anyone thinks the missing battery could provide any clues or if it might have been a red herring.
I was scrolling through the case details of Donald Westfall Jr., and something that stood out to me was the removal of the van’s battery. It's such an unusual detail, right? Why would someone take the battery and just leave the rest of the vehicle there with the keys still inside? It seems intentional, like someone wanted to disable the van, but why not hide it completely? This makes me wonder—was the person responsible trying to delay the discovery of the vehicle? Or maybe it was done in haste. Has there been any solid lead on why the battery was missing? Seems like such a calculated move, but what could it mean?
Just been reading up on the discovery of Donald Westfall Jr.'s remains, and something caught my attention. The fact that his van was found without a battery seems really unusual to me. Why would someone take the trouble to remove it? Was it meant to prevent the vehicle from being noticed quickly or to stop Donald from getting away? And who would actually go through all of that effort in a rural area where you might not expect witnesses around? It's just so odd and makes me wonder if it was someone who knew about cars or if it was something more sinister to throw off investigators. Anyone else have thoughts on why the battery might've been taken?
