I've been following Davyon Coates' case closely, and I keep going back to the fact that there were kids present during this whole ordeal. It's just so awful to think that these little ones had to witness such a horrific event. Bringing kids to something as dangerous as a drug deal is beyond comprehension to me. I hope the judicial system considers the trauma these children have endured. They can't remain lost in the background while justice is only sought for the adults involved. If anyone knows more about how the kids are doing or if they're getting support, please share. We can't forget the impact this event has on these innocent lives, and they deserve a chance to heal.

I just can't get over the fact that children were involved in this horrific incident. Taking kids to a drug deal seems so unbelievably reckless and irresponsible. I keep thinking about how those young lives will be affected by what happened that day. It's a miracle that the 2-year-old survived, but it's still heartbreaking to know that they’ve been through such trauma at such a young age. Why put them in harm's way like that? It's beyond comprehension. My heart goes out to Davyon Coates' family and all the other families affected by this senseless act of violence. I really hope justice is served and that those responsible face the consequences of their decisions. This incident should be a wake-up call about the collateral damage of drug-related violence and why more needs to be done to protect our communities.
