Has anyone else noticed the lack of information surrounding Jonathan E. Echols' passing? I happened across his obituary from 2016, and it just seems odd that there’s nothing substantial about what led to his death. The community clearly thought highly of him given the memorial service at Greater St. Matthews MBC and his burial at Parklawn Memorial Cemetery. Did anyone here in the Kansas City area know him or anything about his life? It must be incredibly difficult for his family to have this kind of uncertainty surrounding his passing. It’s curious to me that there's no broader news coverage or updates on any investigation that might have been carried out. Particularly when compared to the unrelated case of Alan Echols, whose saga was widely reported on, Jonathan's situation feels quietly forgotten. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated.
