I’ve been thinking about how heartbreaking it must be for Taven’s daughters, Elyiana and Taegan, growing up without their dad. Losing a parent at such a young age, especially to something so violent, must be incredibly confusing and painful. I hope that as they grow older, they’re able to find some peace and comfort in the memories they have of their father and the support of their family and community. It's just devastating to think about the impact this will have on their lives, but I hope they know how much love surrounds them even in this dark time. Sending thoughts to them and everyone who loved Taven.
