Does anyone else find it incredibly disturbing that incidents like Jesse Boone's shooting seem to highlight how vulnerable our public spaces can be? It's so unsettling to think that a ride on a city train could end in such tragedy. My heart goes out to Jesse’s loved ones. It’s terrifying to consider how quickly an ordinary situation can escalate into something so devastating. This case really makes me think about what more could be done to improve safety on public transportation. Maybe increased security presence or better surveillance measures could prevent tragedies like this in the future. Has there been any movement on this front in the St. Louis area since the trial?
