I've been thinking a lot about the ripple effects this tragedy must have on Ernesto's family, friends, and the entire community. It's devastating how gun violence has a way of tearing through neighborhoods, leaving a mix of grief and fear in its wake. While seeing the outpouring of support during the vigils is somewhat comforting, it doesn't change the fact that the people who loved Ernesto have lost someone irreplaceable. It's alarming, too, to know that no arrests have been made yet. I can't even imagine the frustration and pain that the families are going through, alongside the anxiety of knowing there might still be potential dangers lurking nearby. The call for increased security measures and a stronger police presence by Hawthorne Place residents definitely seems justified under these circumstances. I hope that sharing information on forums like this can play a part, even if it's small, in helping find justice for Ernesto and Bradley. If anyone out there knows something, no matter how insignificant it might seem, please consider reaching out to the police. This community deserves to feel safe again, and these families deserve answers.
