I was reading about Armando Diaz's tragic death, and something that struck me is how this innocent young man's life was cut short by what seems like random violence. It's truly devastating to think about how his family and friends must carry on without him, especially knowing it might have been a mistaken identity or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's infuriating that the community is plagued with fear and that people are too scared to come forward with information. I can't help but feel this perpetual cycle of silence only empowers the perpetrators. Let's hope more awareness from those vigils can spark some real change and that those who know something might find the courage to speak up for Armando and others like him. Everyone deserves justice.
