Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Quintin Balls, known affectionately as "QB" to those who knew him. It’s just so upsetting to think about how his life was cut so short, especially in the context of the violent crime surge in Indianapolis back in 2007. What really gets me is how it affected the local sports community, which Quintin was a huge part of. He was quite the basketball player from what some folks on the forums have shared. I found out that his teammates and coaches at his old club organized a tribute game in his honor, pouring out their love and cherishing the memories they had on the court with him. It’s clear that QB had such a positive impact on those around him, and they truly miss him. I just hope that as a community, we can continue to look out for one another and foster a safer environment so things like this don’t keep happening. Sending warm thoughts to his family and friends—they deserve to see justice for his loss.
