I can't imagine the trauma that 8-year-old girl must be going through right now. While I'm relieved she wasn’t physically harmed, the emotional scars of witnessing such violence could be profound. Hopefully, her family can find the right support and counseling resources for her. It’s just so tragic that Andrew Martinez lost his life so young. From what I've read, he wasn't involved in gangs, which makes the senselessness of this even more devastating. Holding his loved ones, and the little girl, in my thoughts. If anyone has more context or information on the situation, it might help bring justice to both the families involved.

I've been following the tragic drive-by shooting that took place in San Bernardino and something has been weighing heavily on my mind. I can't stop thinking about the little girl who was there and witnessed the whole thing. I can't even imagine the trauma she must be experiencing after seeing such a horrifying event at such a young age. I hope she’s getting all the support and counseling she might need right now.
It's also deeply concerning that this shooting seems to be gang-related. It's hard to comprehend how an innocent walk down the street could turn into such a nightmare. My heart goes out to Andrew Martinez's loved ones, who lost someone so young, and to the injured man as he recovers. No one should have to live in fear of violence like this.
