I've been following David Hardwick's case, and I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have on his family. It's one thing to lose a loved one, but to have it happen in such a violent and senseless manner is unimaginable. What's more, it makes me ponder the wider issue of young individuals, like Nevin Brooks, getting involved in such serious crimes. At just 14, Brooks was part of something so horrific, and it raises questions about what's going on in these kids' lives that they end up making such tragic choices. I hope David's family finds some solace eventually, knowing that there is so much support for them from the community. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.
