It's been a tough few years since Lee McNowelly's tragic passing, and my heart goes out to his wife, family, and the community in Independence. What really gets me is how he was working a job to protect others and ended up losing his life in such a senseless way. I've been following the case closely, and it’s so frustrating not having any updates or leads. I noticed that the area around 87th and Elmwood has some traffic and nearby businesses. Has anyone looked into whether there could be surveillance footage from any of these locations? It seems like there should be something, even if it's just a small piece of the puzzle. Anything that could provide a break for the investigators and finally get some answers for Lee's loved ones would be invaluable. Just putting this out there—hoping someone has more insight or that they've thought of this angle already. Sending strength to all those affected by this tragedy.
I’ve been following the discussions about Lee McNowelly and can't stop thinking about the eerie silence during the investigation. The fact that the crime happened at a spot like 87th and Elmwood, which isn’t exactly deserted, makes me wonder if someone saw something or heard anything that might help piece this puzzle together.
While it’s baffling why no suspects have been identified yet, I think it’s essential for us to dig into any potential connections Lee might have had through his work at Titan Protection or even what he was monitoring that night. It’s vital that anyone with information, no matter how small it might seem, steps forward. Even brief sightings of unusual activities or cars that seemed out of place could be the key to breaking this case wide open.
Sending strength to Lee’s family during this unimaginable time. I truly hope the community continues to rally around them and that they find the justice they deserve soon. If anyone has more thoughts on this, I’d love to hear your theories or insights.
