I can't stop thinking about the impact this senseless act has had on Roshon Sykes' family and the Overland community. Being so young, with his whole life ahead of him, it's difficult to fathom how someone can just have their life cut short like this. I read that his mother has been pleading for information, and I can't imagine the pain she's going through. It's been nearly five years without answers or justice, and that's more than any family should have to endure.
Have there been any community events or vigils held recently in memory of Roshon? It's so important to keep his story alive and support his family's quest for justice. If anyone is local, maybe we can organize or participate in something to show the family they're not alone in this. Every little bit helps, and sometimes just gathering the community can spark new information or lead to someone coming forward. Let's support them and keep the pressure on to find those responsible.
