Has anyone else been wondering about the impact this incident has had on Daniel Carroll's neighbors? It's such a small community in Thayer, and having something like this happen right on Adams Street must've been so unsettling for everyone living nearby. I read one of the neighbors saw the white SUV speeding away, which I imagine could have been terrifying and left them feeling really on edge. It's hard not to think about how everyone would cope with the fear and anxiety after witnessing or hearing about such violence so close to home. I hope the neighborhood has found some sense of peace as time has passed, but it must still be difficult living with the memory of what happened that day. My thoughts are with everyone affected, directly or indirectly, and I hope the community continues to support each other through this.
