Has anyone else been following the Calvin Hayes case in St. Louis? It seems unbelievable that even with the suspect caught with the murder weapon and having cashed his check, she got released due to "insufficient evidence." This has to be so tough for Calvin’s family, especially his sister, who’s been so vocal about her frustration. I can't imagine how exhausting it must be for the family to feel left in the dark while trying to get some semblance of justice for Calvin. And all this added drama with the lawsuit between the Circuit Attorney and the city/police doesn’t seem to help. It’s like another hurdle on top of the tragedy they’re already dealing with. Keeping fingers crossed that something shifts soon in this tangled mess. Calvin deserves more than being just another unsolved case.
