I've been following Antonio Smith's case, and the whole thing is such a complex mix of tragedy and justice. It's incredibly difficult to imagine what his family must be feeling right now. I'm thinking about the police officers too—they risk so much during these high-speed chases. The fact that it ended in another death with Twashon Wilkins is heartbreaking in a different way. Nobody asked for this chain of events. It’s a real reminder of the unpredictable nature of these cases and the heavy burdens carried by everyone involved, especially the innocent lives the victims leave behind. My thoughts are with Antonio's family and friends. I hope they find some closure knowing that Wilkins won't harm anyone else, though it’s such a significant loss all around.
