I wanted to share my thoughts on the recent updates in Larry Jordan's case. It’s just so unimaginable what his family must be going through. I can’t help but think about the innocence lost in situations like these, and how devastating it must be for his loved ones to hear now that Larry wasn’t even the intended target. The fact that Garrett Jordan has been arrested gives me some hope that justice might be served, but I worry about the impact this development has on Larry’s family. Knowing that someone might finally be held accountable is some comfort, but it won’t bring Larry back or erase the trauma. It hurts to see the community still wrestling with these issues, even after making some progress. This case really underlines the urgency of tackling gun violence in neighborhoods like Larry's. I hope we can continue to push for changes that might prevent such senseless tragedies from happening again. Let’s keep sending love and strength to Larry’s family and stay vigilant in supporting efforts to improve safety in our communities.
