Hey everyone, I've been following the Carieal Doss case, and something that's been on my mind is how strong community outreach programs could make a difference. It’s so impactful to see how her tragic death has spurred movements to bring awareness to the violence affecting young people in St. Louis. I read that community leaders started local initiatives to create safe spaces for kids and teens, and it honestly gives me hope. It's heartbreaking that it took such a loss to spark these changes, but it’s a step in the right direction. Has anyone here been involved in similar programs or know what more can be done to support these efforts? It would be great to brainstorm ideas on how we can help from wherever we are. My heart goes out to Carieal’s family; losing someone so full of life and joy just isn't something any family should have to endure. Stay safe and keep supporting each other.
