Ever since Curly went missing, I've been thinking about how crucial community involvement is in cases like his. In situations where someone vulnerable is missing, local residents become the eyes and ears of the search. I’ve seen a few posts from people in North Memphis saying they've seen an older man matching Curly’s description in and around various shelters. Is anyone from the area able to confirm this?
I know his family has been putting up flyers and talking to people on the ground, but sometimes people don't connect the dots unless there's some buzz about it. If you live in or near North Memphis, maybe just keep Reginald's picture handy. It wouldn't hurt to check in with local shelters or places where he might try to stay warm, especially as the weather gets colder.
Also, I can't help but think about how unsettling it is for someone with epilepsy to be without their medication and support network. I hope this community can come together and help bring him home safely, one way or another. Keep sharing his story and let's hope it leads to something soon.
Has anyone in the Memphis area heard anything about suspicious activity around Midtown lately? My heart goes out to Curly's family. I can't stop thinking about how familiar he was with North Memphis, and yet he seems to have slipped through the cracks this time. Given his medical history, his disappearance after visiting the hospital makes this so unsettling. It’s strange that no one has spotted him in the usual places. With an outfit as unique as a green sweatshirt and black jeans, someone must have noticed him. If anyone thinks they might have seen him or heard something, even if it's small, please reach out to the authorities. Every bit of information helps, and his family is desperate for any news.
Has anyone else noticed how cases involving individuals with mental health issues like Reginald Rice seem to slide under the radar? It's almost like they don't receive as much attention as others. Reginald, or "Curly" as his family calls him, has been missing since 2018, and despite his family's efforts, there's been little to no media coverage outside of the dedicated community on here. With his history of disappearing due to his conditions, I wonder if his case is being taken seriously enough. His family has been relentless in the North Memphis area, putting up flyers and talking to anyone who might’ve seen him, but it feels like more can be done. Maybe the community could push for renewed coverage or organize additional search efforts? Reginald deserves to come home just like anyone else. Thoughts?
