I’ve been following the case of William Rayford, and I keep thinking about the impact this tragic event must have had on his family and the Hazelwood community. It’s so hard to imagine what his loved ones are going through, knowing their world was turned upside down. Something that caught my attention is the involvement of a juvenile in this case. It raises so many questions about the circumstances that led up to that night. What could have possibly driven someone so young to be part of such a violent act? It’s unsettling to think about how youth can sometimes find themselves caught up in dangerous situations with dire consequences. I sincerely hope that the community can rally around Rayford's family during this incredibly difficult time. It's vital that anyone with information comes forward to help piece together what truly happened. It’s the least we can do to honor William’s memory and support his family in their pursuit of justice.
