Has anyone else been following the case of Jeffrey Amick and Joshua Lundak? I feel for Jeffrey's family—they must be going through so much pain, trying to make sense of everything that happened. One thing that caught my attention was the role of the surveillance footage. It's mind-boggling how a piece of video can become a critical element in deciding someone's fate. Even with such evidence, it seems like interpretations of self-defense can vary wildly, as shown by the divided jury in the first trial. How do we find justice in such complex situations? I hope the family finds some peace and the closure they deserve, but it's such a complicated web of emotions and events.
