I've been following the discussion around the tragic passing of little Ke'Andre DeLéon Valentine, and something that's been on my mind is just how silence can sometimes surround such heartbreaking cases. It seems like media coverage often dictates how much attention a case gets. Without those reports or headlines, many of us who want to help or raise awareness are left in the dark. It’s puzzling that someone as young and innocent as Ke'Andre didn't have his story front and center. My heart truly goes out to his family. They must be carrying such a burden, not only from their loss but also from the lack of answers and closure. I wonder if there's a way to shine more light on these less-publicized cases to help families like his get the support and justice they deserve.
