Has anyone else been following the tragic wave of violence that happened in Saint Louis back in July 2020? I’m heartbroken to hear about Julius Lewis and Faith Fetters. What really gets me is how we still don't have any solid leads or arrests. It's been over three years now, and I can't imagine what their families are going through, waiting every day for justice.
Living in Saint Louis myself, it’s terrifying to think something like this can happen just blocks away. It feels like the community is lost on what to do next. There’s often talk about improving public safety, but nothing seems to change. How do we begin to tackle the root causes of this violence? My heart goes out to everyone affected by these senseless acts. I really hope someone with information comes forward soon.
Has anyone considered the impact of the neighborhood environment where Julius Lewis was shot? Plymouth Avenue, from what I gather, has unfortunately seen its share of crime over the years. I'm wondering if there's been any efforts to increase community programs or neighborhood watches in that area since the shooting. It feels like there might be deeper issues that need addressing beyond just law enforcement. It's heartbreaking to think about how Julius and Faith were caught up in this. I hope the community can come together to prevent more tragedies like this from happening. If anyone's familiar with local initiatives, please share—I'd love to know if there's a push to create safer spaces in that part of Saint Louis.
