Does anyone else feel for Guy Gibson’s friend who he was trying to pick up that morning on Hodiamont Avenue? It must be incredibly hard to cope with the loss, knowing his intention was just to grab a friend and then suddenly facing such a tragic event. I can't imagine the weight they must feel being unexpectedly tied to this terrible incident.
