I've been following Marcus Runnels's case for a while now, and something has been bugging me. Does anyone know if the authorities were able to track or ping his cell phone after he was last seen? It seems like such a crucial piece of technology, especially in cases like this where there’s so little to go on. Was there any mention of his phone activity or location in the days leading up to his disappearance? I've seen so many cases where phone data provides significant leads. Surely, the Dallas PD would have looked into this avenue, but I haven't come across any detailed information about it. Would love to hear if anyone else has come across more specific details. Let's hope for his family's sake that they find some answers soon.
Has anyone else noticed how often cases like Marcus Runnels' get so little attention? I was just thinking about how many missing person cases seem to fall off the radar because there's so little information to go on. It's like they just vanish into thin air. I read that Marcus was last seen in Dallas, and I’ve been wondering whether there have been any updates from other people in Dallas who might have seen him or know anything that wasn't in the initial reports. It's got to be tough for his family to hold on to hope when it feels like no new developments are coming out. Also, you'd think with two major departments like the DPD and Texas DPS on this, we'd have more info. Anyone have thoughts on why some cases get more media attention than others?
