I’ve been following the Rankin-Fleming case, and my heart truly goes out to the families involved. One detail I keep thinking about is the role of cell phone records in this investigation. It's unsettling to realize how crucial these records were in placing Anderson at the scene. It makes me wonder how many pieces of the puzzle go unnoticed without such technology. But even with this evidence, it's incredibly concerning that justice feels so out of reach for the families. There needs to be a conversation about how these systems can be improved to actually serve the victims and their loved ones. It’s just tough to watch as these sentences are handed down without a sense of real accountability. What more could have been done with better resources and more efficient handling of evidence? It's so frustrating.
