Hey everyone, I was digging through some aviation forums and came across something about the Guardian King Air 200 with the tail number N13LY that's been missing. It seems the last recorded coordinates were 57.1.45 N, 134.49.88 W—somewhere in the Alaskan wilderness. I know Margaret Langston and Patrick Coyle are also on the missing persons list with this incident. What's curious to me is the weather conditions around the time they went missing. Does anyone know if there were any unusual weather patterns that day? I remember reading about rapid weather changes causing issues for flights in that area, but I'm not sure if that's relevant here. Would love to hear thoughts or any insights. Stay safe!

Has anyone else been digging into the flight path of the Guardian King Air 200, N13LY? I've been looking at those last known coordinates—57.1.45 N, 134.49.88 W—and noticed it's a really remote area. The terrain there is harsh and mostly untouched, which makes me wonder about the challenges facing search and rescue teams. Does anyone have insights into similar cases where planes have gone missing in such rugged landscapes? The situation with Margaret Langston and Patrick Coyle is concerning, and I can't help but think time is of the essence with conditions like these. Curious to hear if anyone here has experience with aircraft incidents in wilderness regions or knows more about SAR operations in Alaska.
